SUNDAY HABITS

"Have you planned what you'll be doing this weekend?"

This is certainly one of the questions most likely to leave the other person speechless. Because by the weekend, besides knowing you'll have more time to sleep in, who can say what they'll be doing for...the entire day? With questions like these, Beans' usual response that can also leave the other person speechless is: "Let's guess?!"

Beans believes the weekend is the time we all look forward to the most, yet it passes the fastest. In the beginning of the week, waiting forever for Sunday to arrive. And before you know it, the weekend has passed without a trace. Upon reflection, nothing particularly outstanding happens on weekends - we sleep in, spend some time with family, friends, and also prepare for the new week. Every development during the weekend is continuous, with no breaks in between, nor any spare time in reserve, despite how eagerly anticipated it is. Doesn't it seem contradictory?

Getting back to the topic, then what habits should we develop for weekends? According to Beans, the best approach is...not to develop any habits at all, and let our bodies and minds lead us in doing what we need most. You can sleep to your heart's content, then pop by Beans for your usual corner spot and morning coffee. Or you can reschedule your visit to Beans for next week, and just laze around at home - because you truly deserve this time. Weekends are a privilege for each individual. We've taken care of our good habits daily, and doing nothing is also an activity requiring care in times of rest for our bodies.

So don't sweat about plans this weekend, whether you drop by Beans or not there will be other opportunities. Beans looks forward to seeing you next week!
