Mid-Autumn Festival is coming again...

"Mid-Autumn Festival, as know as a family reunion occasion is always eagerly anticipated like a delicious mooncake stored away in the kitchen cabinet year-round," (Thư Vũ).

At any age, we still have our own anticipations when the Mid-Autumn Festival arrives. For young children, it is the excitement of getting to eat delicious mooncakes, joyfully lighting lanterns, or having their parents take them to lion dances. And for us adults, it is memories of childhood enjoyment during Mid-Autumn Festivals past.

Saying this helps understand that while Mid-Autumn may seem simple, it contains special spiritual meaning. And the image of the bright round moon appearing each fall season is something that must reside in the mind of each and every one of us.

Bidding summer farewell to welcome the arrival of autumn, Beans also seeks to reconnect with the spirit of the new moon time.
